Great book for some insight into the new addition to the family. Although it is an American book so had to adapt some things for the UK 🙂

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The perfect book for first-time kitten owners
13 December 2005
Format: eBook
This book was brilliant. I couldn’t recommend any other book more for first time kitten owners. I read it in advance of getting my 2 kittens and it really was amazing. I learned everything I wanted to know which included – whether a kitten was right for me, how to kitten-proof my home, all about setting a safe area for them, what to look for to do with illnesses, a little bit of cat psychology basics – how to interpret some things they do, behaviour problems, bonding with the kitten, keeping the kitten entertained, first aid for kittens – and lots more.
It’s definitely aimed at beginners but it contains so much useful information that I’ll be referring to it for years to come.

Really nice read. I would definitely recommend Kittens for Dummies, I have just gotten my first kitten…. OH my gosh I never knew that there was so much to learn. This book helped me every step of the way and it is now week 2 and with the help of this book and my Vets advice I was able to introduce my new kitten with my 5 year old resident Spaniel with success.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Everything you need to know
16 February 2012
Format: eBook
I read a lot of kitten books before I got my kittens and this was one of the best. It covers all the basics of what you need to know before, during and after bringing your kittens home so they get the bets start in life. Really useful and laid out well, as with all the dummies books.
